Fragmented

Which part of us are truly us? Which part did we create to protect ourselves? Growing up we have to pick apart our identity and find out which parts to keep and which part no longer define us.

The works began with the question of how an image can be broken without losing its emotional coherence.

As details dissolve, attention shifts toward what remains emotionally recognizable.

What was initially a process of blurring became a way of thinking about what we choose to keep visible.

Identity here is not presented as fixed, but as something continuously edited and rearranged.

Set within the intimacy of a bathroom, the image captures a moment suspended between self-perception and self-discovery.

Perhaps fragmentation is not the opposite of wholeness, but another way of approaching it.

Memories rarely return with complete clarity; they often remain as fragments, sensations, or impressions.
